FALLING FOR THE CARIBOO
It’s hard to match autumn in the Cariboo, with trees dressed in golden leaves, the smell of wood stoves burning and the quiet serenity that cooler temperatures bring.
While activity on the lakes and roads has slowed, Real Estate is still steaming ahead with a very busy September behind us which saw sales up 19% over this month last year. Active listings were also up by 24%, giving buyers a much appreciated selection to choose from and which also resulted in listings lasting an average 84 days on the market compared to a quick 45 days last year. It helped to eliminate the sense of urgency for buyers that we experienced in 2018 and made for a much more relaxed buying experience.
Currently we have 287 homes and 238 parcels of vacant land actively listed in the South Cariboo, waiting for their new owners to make a deal. With the current selection and good weather, this is a perfect time to book your appointments to see those properties your’ve been eyeing over the summer. I’d love to hear from you, whether it’s to schedule viewings, ask questions about properties of interest to you or give me an update on your plans to buy. Please don’t hesitate to contact me for any reason, big or small.
The Cariboo is waiting for you!!!
